Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place 16 April 1997 in Miami Florida. The girl is English and one-half Spanish. Her parents were Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother hails from Spanish and English heritage. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. The family is initially from Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria as Taylor-Joy reached the age of six. According to Taylor-Joy, the move was traumatic and she refused to learn English with the intention of returning to Argentina. Hill House became her school that she chose after being forced to change schools. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. When she was 16, she quit the school to take on acting as a profession. From a young age Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to work as an actress. her dream came true after she was offered a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
