Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress born and raised within Orange County. At the age of 5 she moved from Morocco to California. The actress got her first taste of acting in the year 2015. In the same year, Sofia Pernas received her degree from the University of California San Diego. Following a few appearances on NCIS and Leverage Pernas was offered the role of Marisa Sierras on The Young and the Restless. The actress was cast as Catalina on Jane the Virgin after she quit the soap. The model, fluent in four languages, has since appeared on The Brave and The Green Ghost as Hannah Rivera. She also appeared Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Pernas was the character Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure between 2019 and 2020. Us Weekly reported in May 2020, that Pernas was dating Justin Hartley from The Young and the Restless. This romance began after Chrishell Stause, the This Is Us actress split in the month of November. Then, in May 2021 news came out that Pernas Hartley had recently married in secret.
