Amber Benson hails from the United States and is an actress, producer, writer/singer/director. Her most famous character is Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Alongside that, she's directed, produced and performed in her own movies Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she was part of the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on the 8th of January, 1977 Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Danielle Benson, her artist younger sister. Benson's father was Jewish as was her mother was Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. Her family was raised going to a Reform congregation in Alabama.
