Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28th in 1967) is an American actor and a singer. Wuhrer began her career as a teenager. She is known for her roles as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders and also as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), who is a payroll manager, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, who was a police officer as well as a auto salesman. There are three of her siblings. While she was a kid She sang in nightclubs and slipped out to perform. When she began studying acting at Wooster School, at 13 years old, she was a drama student at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts located at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University.
